The heightened stress and fast pace of life todays makes yoga more relevant than ever. Almost scavenging for life between infinite to-do lists, just having a moment to sit back, relax and breathe can be Yoga. The literal translation of the word “yoga” is “union” – the bringing together of body and mind by use of the breath. These breathing techniques elevate your heart rate for a consistent period of times and is beneficial for overall fitness.
There is also evidence that yoga may help people with certain health conditions and chronic diseases manage pain and other symptoms.
